New Member - Mikevr6

Hi Guys,

I've been living in Cologne for a few months now. Just bought a new Corrado VR6 Storm at the weekend. This is my 3rd Corrado and 2nd VR6.
I also have a tuned TDi Mk4 Golf Highline which I use for daily driving.
Looking forward to any local meet ups and trips to the Nurburgring!

I will also be joining the Corrado Club in Germany. I have been a member of the UK club for 6 years.

My German is not so good. I work in a completely English speaking environment. But I do have Google toolbar to help me translate

I bought the Storm in the UK on Saturday. I had to drive here very slowly as there is a problem with the engine.
Do any of you know a good mechanic in the Cologne area who can fix a VR6?

I will post some pics up once I have given the car a good clean. She's a little bit dirty right now

Thanks for that Jonny Flash. I'll contact him. He's a little far away though. I don't know if I can drive the car 300km like this.
Anyone else closer to Koln? The UK is a much smaller country and every major City has a VW Tuning Specialist!

Storm badges on the gearstick surround and on the rear. Mystic Blue or Classic Green paint, Colour coded grill and Leather Interior (black or cream) as standard where the other "special" features of the last 500 Corrados supplied to the UK.

"Production ceased in Europe, with the UK-only limited production model, the Corrado VR6 Storm. Some discreet "Storm" badging, a colour-keyed front grille, 15 inch BBS "Solitude" alloy wheels, and standard fitment of some previously optional items (such as the leather heated front seats) were all that differentiated this model from the base Corrado VR6. Only 500 were produced, 250 in Classic Green, and 250 in Mystic Blue (unique to the Storm)."
